What you can expect
- Coaching conversations that help you uncover your own answers and strengths.
- A warm, supportive space for exploration, growth, and honest reflection.
- Practical tools and reflective exercises to support clarity and learning.
Depending on our partnership, I can also integrate elements of consulting, mentoring, or teaching to complement your coaching journey. For example, I can also offer insights, guidance, or training in areas like leadership development, team dynamics, cross-cultural awareness, emotional intelligence, giving and receiving feedback, building resilience, change management, diversity, communications, English conversation, marketing, branding (including personal branding), and neurodivergence.
However, my preferred relationship role is always as your coach first, and my mission is not to tell you what’s best for you. We’ll do the thought work together so you can determine that.
In our intro session, let’s explore what you’re looking for in coaching and how we can co-create the best approach for you or your team!
Coaching tools I use
Most times you may not even know I’m using a specific tool, because tools can be in the form of questions, or may simply be sharing non-judgmental observations. That said, sometimes we may use Gestalt exercises, solutions-focused thinking, visual cards, drawing tools, tables and graphs, decision-making tools, assessment results, physical movement of your body or representative character “pieces”, affirmations and/or manifesting, or mindfulness practices depending on your needs in each session.
With teams, these tools often become more interactive and collaborative. Depending on the group and the goals, we might work with guided team dialog, role‑based scenarios, team‑mapping exercises, strengths or values mapping, real‑time feedback techniques, or co‑creation activities. We may also use frameworks like team agreements, psychological safety assessments, working‑styles profiles, stakeholder mapping, or exercises that visualize team dynamics, priorities, or ways of working. In many cases, these tools help teams see patterns, surface unspoken dynamics, and create practical next steps together.
Who I work with
As an English‑speaking coach, I love helping Nordic professionals strengthen their emotional intelligence and communicate with confidence in English. I’ve seen first-hand how important this is for Finland’s global growth, shaped by years of working in international roles here. My clients are primarily in tech, creative, and internationally minded growth organizations.
With leaders, founders, and professionals:
I create a reflective space where insight, courage, and clarity can spark meaningful growth.
With organizations and teams:
I co-create journeys that build trust, improve communication, strengthen emotional intelligence, and deliver more value to stakeholders – especially in high‑change, multicultural settings. The aim is to help teams shift from reactive to reflective, from siloed to connected, and from confusion to shared purpose.
Professional background
Before coaching full‑time, I spent 20 years in brand, marketing, and communications – most recently as VP Marketing at a Finnish software company. I spent five years on the global executive team, working closely with engineering, product, and business leaders to shape marketing strategies, brand reputation, and company culture. I led a creative team of seven through acquisitions, hybrid- and remote-work shifts, and brand transformations. I also facilitated retrospectives and team sessions to strengthen collaboration.
Diversity, inclusion, and well‑being guided how I led, and our team reached 90% career‑satisfaction. I also understand the pressure leaders face to deliver results. My work in storytelling and communication helped support revenue growth from €14.1M to €25.1M during my years in executive leadership.
Across all my roles, one thread is strong: I thrive on helping people uncover that certain “spark” that lifts them up. In my coaching practice, this shows up as deep listening and reflective inquiry that inspires insights and purposeful action. It also means noticing how your environment shapes your reactions and relationships, and helping you work with that awareness in a healthy, more connected way.
Coaching credentials and education
My coaching is supported by professional training and accreditation. I hold a Professional Executive Coaching Certification from Henley Business School, and I’m accredited as both an ICF ACC and an EMCC EIA Practitioner. I’ve also completed Henley’s Professional Certificate in Team & Systemic Coaching, which deepens my work with groups and organizational dynamics. Earlier in my lifetime, I earned both BSc (Environmental Studies) and MA (Geography) degrees from Michigan State University, USA.
My core skills include leadership and personal development coaching, team and organizational coaching, emotional intelligence, facilitation, active listening, warmth, communication, team dynamics, and cross‑cultural collaboration. I also share my work through public speaking and meaningful storytelling.
Community work, inclusion, and purpose‑driven support
Outside of client work, I stay actively involved in communities. I serve on the Board of EMCC Finland, where I support ethical practice and professional development among coaches. At EMCC’s Global level, I’m on the communications team for the Team Coaching Centre for Excellence.
I also provide pro bono through the Herizon Community, helping international professionals in Finland find direction, confidence, and a clear voice.
I have DEIB training, I’m anti-racist, and welcome adults of all ages, abilities, cultures, and genders. I’m also LGBTQ+- and ADHD/neurodivergent-friendly!
